Free Summer Concert Series Line-up Announced

It's time to start planning a fun filled summer on Pleasure Island. Whether you'll be here for a weekend, a week, or every chance you get - you're sure to enjoy the sun, surf, and of course music!

One of the most beloved summertime traditions is the Free Summer Concert Series. On the 2nd and 4th Friday of June, July, and August head to the Ft Fisher Military Recreation Center in Kure Beach, NC to hear popular local bands fill the warm summer air with great music as the sun sets over the Cape Fear River.

Bring a picnic, some lawn chairs, and a few friends (beverages and other refreshments also available for purchase) and enjoy the show.

June 13: Heart & Soul - R&B, Soul, Jam, Rock & Roll

June 27: Polar Bear Blues Band - Tasteful Rhythm & Blues

July 11: Justin Fox Trio - Classic Blues & Southern Rock

July 25: Mark Roberts Band - Dance, Funk, Blues, Rock & Roll, Motown, Beach & Country

August 8: South of K - Bluegrass

August 22: Bakkwoodz - Classic Country
