There's no excuse to be bored when you spend the summer in Pleasure Island! Just look what all will be going on in the next few months!

Weekly Events

1st & 3rd Sundays, May-October: Boogie in the Park Concert Series

From Reggae to Rock 'n Roll and many musical genres in between, the Boogie in the Park Concert Series is a favorite among locals and visitors alike! Check out the full schedule here. 

Mondays, 6/13-8/29 (skips 7/4), 7 pm-8 pm: Turtle Talk

Learn about local nesting sea turtles with Pleasure Island Sea Turtle Project.

Tuesdays, 6/14-8/30, 8 am-1 pm: Kure Beach Market

Shop for locally grown produce and handcrafted goods.

Wednesdays, 6/15-8/31, 10 am-11:30 am: Story Time by the Sea

Join the princess and her fairytale friends from Fairytales & Dreams by the Sea for stories, crafts, and games.

Thursdays, 6/16-8/18, 6:30 pm-7:30 pm: Up and Active!

Lynne and the Wave host an hour of music, games, and fun for everyone. Face painting provided by P3 Planning. 

2nd & 4th Fridays, June-August, 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm: Summer Concert Series at Fort Fisher
