SEAFOOD BLUES & JAZZ FESTIVAL RESCHEDULED DUE TO HURRICANE MATTHEW

The 23rd Annual Pleasure Island Seafood Blues & Jazz Festival originally scheduled for October 8th and 9th has been rescheduled for Sunday, April 23, 2017 at the Fort Fisher Air Force Recreation Area in Kure Beach, NC due to the approaching Hurricane Matthew and the current State of Emergency. We will welcome the fabulous Jonny Lang finally to our stage at 9:00 pm on the rescheduled date. We are working on the remainder of the line-up and it looks like we will be able to have a similar line-up to the one we originally planned for this weekend. Please check our social media outlets for the latest Festival updates.

The 2016 PLEASURE ISLAND SEAFOOD BLUE & JAZZ FESTIVAL has been RESCHEDULED for April 23, 2017 due to Hurricane Matthew

Ticket holders will be able to use their 2016 Festival tickets for entry to the rescheduled 2017 Festival. Although the rescheduled Festival will be a 1 day event, we have so far been able to put on 12 of the 14 bands on two stages.

We would like to assure our Festival ticket holders that we have worked hard to ensure everyone has a great time at the rescheduled event and that they will still get their money's worth. As has been done at every past Pleasure Island Seafood Blues & Jazz Festival, we will be having musicians play simultaneously on two stages; however, we are extending the hours of the rescheduled festival by two hours so Festival goers will only have to experience one less blues band.

For more information on the event, please visit our website, download the Pleasure Island APP, or email greg@pleasureislandnc.org.

Thank you for your understanding and we hope to see you in April!
