Pleasure Island Branch Library Grand Opening

You are cordially invited to the grand opening of the Pleasure Island Branch Library on Saturday, November 21, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Please feel free to join our community celebration during any or all of the day.


Some of our Chamber members may wish to say a few words at the opening; if so, please contact the Chamber to let us know.

The schedule of events is tentatively set as follows:

10:00 - Ribbon cutting, welcoming speeches, children's craft activity
10:30 - Family Storytime with Miss Mary
11:30 - Family Storytime with Miss Mary
12:00 - Children's craft activity
12:30 - Family Storytime with Miss Mary
1:30 - Family Storytime with Miss Mary

Ongoing 10:00 - 2:00

• Cake and refreshments from the Friends of the Library
• Tours led by volunteers from the Island Women
• Board games for International Games Day
• Books, DVDs, newspapers, magazines, computers, puzzles, and all of your regular NHCPL offerings

New location is the last 2 end units in the Food Lion Shopping Center.
