Update from the Pleasure Island Fire Relief Fund

 They Did It!

On Tuesday, January 6th the Pleasure Island Fire Relief Fund exceeded their goal of raising $100,000.00.

Businesses and residents from all over the community have reached out in support with generous donations and volunteer work. Because of YOU, a significant difference has been made in the lives of many people and the community in general.

The community of Carolina Beach and those affected by the condo fires are grateful for your continued support. Many of the fire victims lost all of their possessions and now, with your help, they can begin rebuilding their lives.

FEMA TO GIVE AID TO NEW HANOVER COUNTY FOR HURRICANE IRENE DAMAGE

Individual assistance is available from FEMA for homeowners and renters including grants for temporary rental assistance, home repairs and other serious disaster-related expenses not met by insurance or other assistance programs.
