As you may have heard on the news or read in the papers recently, the Town of Carolina Beach was submitted a proposal and request for a conditional use permit (CUP) for Amusement Park Rides to be developed on currently vacant lots in the Carolina Beach Boardwalk area. The proposal was submitted by Megerle’s Magic and Hildebrand Rides of Gibsonton, Florida.
The Town of Carolina Beach Planning Commission has reviewed the proposal and made their recommendation regarding the Amusement Park Rides to be installed and operated. The proposal will now be reviewed by the Carolina Beach Town Council at their meeting tomorrow night, Tuesday, April 14th, 2009 at 6:30 pm at the Town Hall. If approved, the rides could be up and running next month!
