Kure Memorial Lutheran Church Presents Kentucky Derby Day!

The Kure Beach Memorial Lutheran Church is hosting a "Run for the Roses" fundraiser event to benefit the Church.

Details:

• What: Kure Memorial Lutheran Church Kentucky Derby Day
• When: Saturday, May 2nd from 12:00 to 2:00 pm
• Where: On the lawn of the KMLC at 117 North Third Street in Kure Beach, NC
• Dress Code: Hats for the ladies and bowties for the men

Come out to support the Church Council "Jockeys" as they ride their horses across the finish line! Show your support for your favorite "Jockey" with a minimum pledge of $2.

There will be a contest for Judge's Choice for best hat and best bowtie.

Southern style food and beverages will be available.
