Havana’s Executive Chef Charlie Blake comes with 14 years of experience (originally from Boston and relocated to Cape Fear) prepares all menu items & daily specials using only the freshest ingredients available. From our fresh seafood, hand cut steaks to our scratch made pastas, we truly have something for everyone!

Our chef & culinary team creates all dishes from scratch and can modify many menu items due to allergies and
preference. From our kids menu to our vegetarian dishes we will satisfy every appetite. Here at Havana’s, we love food and the passion to create it! Join us for Sunday Brunch every week from 10am-2pm. Our culinary team features a traditional beach breakfast & comfort lunch buffet. Some of our most popular menu items include Applewood Bacon, Sausage, Powdered French Toast, Shrimp & Grits, Eggs Benedict, Fresh Fruit, Pastries, Smoked Salmon, Seasonal Vegetables, Southern Biscuits & Gravy and Double Chocolate Brownies. Our Front porch and deck become a great place to dine on a Sunday Morning. At noon our bar opens and serves up the freshest Mojitos & Bloody Marys on the beach! Our Brunch is a great value at $12.95 for adults and $6.95 for kids under 12.

Havana’s founder, Pete Donat opened Havana’s on March 5, 2009 with an Island Restaurant concept that is inspired by the old Caribbean feeling—the way Ernest Hemingway would have seen it. Havana’s is located in the historic Loughlin house at the corner of Cape Fear and Lake Park. Prior to Havana’s, Pete ran the Oceanic in Wrightsville for 17 years and was a partner with Atlantic Quest (owner of five Wilmington restaurants and a catering company). He started waiting tables at 18 and has been in the restaurant business since (21 years). Pete welcomes you and invites you to come and sample the unique cuisine, especially the soon to awarded “Best Seafood Chowder” at this years Chowder Cook-off!
