Elves Bring Holiday Magic to the Aquarium

The N.C. Aquarium at Fort Fisher gives all of Santa’s helpers a holiday boost. Little elves are invited to the Aquarium’s Holiday Elf Camps Saturdays, Dec. 7, 14, and 21 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Campers, ages 5 to 12, make and wrap gifts for loved ones, make friends with other elves and create memories. Each day features a different animal theme. Elf Camp gives Santa’s adult helpers free time to check their lists or take a little time for themselves.

Children may register for one, two or three days of camp. The program fee of $50 per day includes Aquarium admission, lunch, snacks, crafts, holiday gift-wrap and instruction. Register early to get the date you want. Pre-registration is required.

This year the Aquarium also offers limited transportation from the Monkey Junction area to and from camps. An additional fee and pre-registration is required for this service. The Aquarium will be closed on Christmas Day and will reopen at 9 AM on December 26, 2013.
