Easter Egg Hunt

Carolina Beach Parks and Recreation invite all children ages 12 and under to hop down to Mike Chappell Park for a fun and family-oriented Easter Egg Hunt!

This FREE event will take place Saturday, March 26 from 11 am to 12 noon. The hunt will start promptly at 11 am so it may be best to arrive a little early and don't forget to bring a basket!

Other fun activities will include games, crafts and pictures with the Easter Bunny.

Be sure to "like" the Carolina Beach Parks and Recreation department's Facebook page to stay up-to-date on this and other events. In the event of inclement weather, any changes to the event will be posted there.

CB Parks and Rec Summer Camp

There are just a few more weeks of school and then it's summer vacation! Beat boredom and keep the kids active and having fun at Carolina Beach Parks & Rec Summer Camp!

Hours: 9:00AM-4:00PM
CB Residents: $125 per child
Non-Residents: $150 per child
On-site snacks & trips included!

Week 1: June 22nd-26th, Ages: 6-9 yr.
Week 2: July 6th-10th, Ages: 10-13 yr.
Week 3: July 20th-24th, Ages: 6-9 yr.
Week 4: August 3rd-7th, Ages 6-9 yr.

Jersey Nights Christmas Special

Senior Christmas Trip

Hop aboard a chartered bus to the Palace Theatre in Myrtle Beach for the "Jersey Nights Christmas Special". This Christmas trip will be full of entertainment, fellowship and holiday cheer!

WHEN: Wednesday, December 10, 2014

TIME: Leaving the Senior Center at 7:00 a.m. and returning around 4: 00 p.m.

COST: $43 per participant includes all of your transportation costs, bus driver's tip and theatre tickets.

FOOD: Lunch will be an additional $8.19 at Golden Corral located in Myrtle Beach

Payment and registration is due by Monday, November 24th. Space is limited - no refunds.

Carolina Beach Parks and Recreation Summer Day Camp

Don't let the kids get bored this summer - give them an experience they won't soon forget at the Carolina Beach Parks and Recreation Summer Day Camp. 

There is a Discovery Day Camp for kids ages 6-10 and an Adventure Day Camp for kids ages 10-13. Activities include horse back riding, kayaking, trips to the beach, surfing, and more! Space is limited.

Easter Egg Dash - Saturday, April 23rd

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Celebrate at the Carolina Beach Halloween Carnival

The Carolina Beach Department of Parks and Recreation continues the Halloween Fun tomorrow at their 2008 Halloween Carnival.

Details:

• What: Carolina Beach Parks and Recreation 2008 Halloween Carnival
• When: Saturday, November 1st from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm
• Where: Carolina Beach Recreation Center
• Ages: 12 and under
• Cost: $1 plus at least 1 canned food item to be donated to the Federal Point Help Center

The evening will be filled with games, candy, a haunted hallway, and spooky prizes as well as a costume contest to be judged at 8 pm sharp. There will also be Halloween cake and drinks.

So wash that costume (or don't) and come on down to join the festivities!
