The Pleasure Island Chamber of Commerce is holding a photography contest to showcase our beautiful and vibrant beach community! Whether you're a pro or just learning, this contest is open to all skill levels.
Details
All images must be of the Pleasure Island area, meaning images taken in Carolina Beach, Kure Beach or Fort Fisher. Images can include events held on Pleasure Island.
Only three entries will be permitted per individual. Entries are to be submitted on CD-ROM. They can be dropped off at the Chamber offices or mailed to Greg Reynolds, Pleasure Island Chamber of Commerce, 1121 N. Lake Park Blvd., Carolina Beach, NC 28428. CD-ROMs will not be returned.
All entries must include the following information: Name, Address, Phone, Email, Description of the photo and the Location where the photo was taken.
Cover photo image is 4" x 9" and a minimum of 300 DPI. The selected photo will receive two (2) day passes to the 2016 23rd Annual Pleasure Island Seafood Blues & Jazz Festival.
All other images must be a minimum size of 4" x 6" and also a minimum of 300 DPI.
All images submitted will become the property of the Chamber to use at their discretion. This could include use in the Visitor's Guide, Chamber website and other related marketing materials. Credit will always be given to photographers in all instances.
Judging will take place on or around December 4, 2015. The entries will be judged by the marketing committee of the Pleasure Island Chamber of Commerce. Winners will be notified by December 8, 2015.
All entries must adhere to the above specifications or they will be disqualified.
