How would you like to be part of the Christmas Flotilla or the Island of Lights Christmas Parade in Carolina Beach this year?!
To be in the Island of Lights Christmas Parade in Carolina Beach, you must submit an application online (new for 2015). Area residents young and old look forward to the annual Christmas Parade every year, and this year is sure not to disappoint! The Parade is always the second Friday after Thanksgiving and begins at 7:30 pm.
The parade will proceed from Atlanta Ave. down Lake Park Blvd. to the Federal Point Plaza in Carolina Beach. Floats, bands and Santa Claus will be there to add to the festivities of the season and provide a night of family-friendly entertainment.

Christmas Flotilla
What is the Carolina Beach Christmas Flotilla, you may ask? It's an annual festive parade on the water, where local fishing boat and pleasure craft owners decorate their vessels with beautiful, twinkling light displays. Captains cruise their crafts along the Intracoastal Waterway, from Snows Cut to the Carolina Beach Boast Basin and back.
Participants in the Christmas Flotilla will be able to show off their holiday decorating skills, compete for prizes, and best of all, spread joy and cheer for the start of the holiday season!
The annual Christmas Flotilla will take place at 6 pm on Saturday, December 5, 2015.
