Kids love playing on the giant wooden pirate ship and climbing on friendly sea creatures in the playground. Swinging benches are the ideal spot to enjoy the picturesque views and sea breezes.

Various Kure Beach Activities -

We are enjoying full house attendance at the Sunday Boogie in the Park concerts and the every other Friday concerts held at Fort Fisher Recreation Area, that are sponsored by the Town.
The Open Market, Turtle Talks and Storytime By the Sea with the Princesses have all had record turnouts this year.

Food IS allowed so pack your picnic and enjoy dinner to the grooves of live music - for free!

FREE Turtle Talks at the Kure Beach Ocean Front Park

Turtle Talks on Mondays from 7:00-8:00pm at 105 Atlantic Avenue in Kure Beach.  Learn about sea turtles from the Pleasure Island Sea Turtle Project and how they do an amazing job of helping to protect these animals.  Learn how to do your part in protecting the sea turtles.  Receive expert advice on what to do if you see a mother sea turtle or her babies.

Kure Beach Ocean Front Park Summer 2014 Events Schedule

There's a lot going on at the new Kure Beach Ocean Front Park this summer. Located at 105 Atlantic Avenue in Kure Beach, NC the park is a great place to listen to live music, take in an educational talk, shop at the Kure Beach Farmers Market, relax on a swing bench watching the waves, or for the kids to turn into swashbuckling pirates aboard the pirate ship in the playground!

Boogie in the Park Lineup - Sunday Evenings in Kure Beach

Spend your Sunday evenings this summer enjoying free, live music by the sea. The Town of Kure Beach will be hosting "Boogie in the Park" every Sunday from 4 pm - 7 pm through September 1st.
