Trick or Treat Under The Sea - October 24th & 25th, 2012

Bring the kids to the aquarium for early Halloween trick-or-treating! Candy stations, special programs and decorations provide a fun and safe Halloween building for this event.

This popular event is held on two dates from 5:00-8:30pm - either Wednesday, October 24 or Thursday, October 25. Children must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Admission is $8.00 for children and adults. NC Aquarium
Members receive a 10% discount. Kids 2 and under are admitted free.

ATTENTION PARENTS: Only umbrella strollers will be permitted in the building for this event. No refunds or exchanges.

Don't miss your chance to see the big guy at Christmas by the Sea at the Carolina Beach Boardwalk.

Christmas by the Sea (CBTS) continues every night through the New Year's Eve celebration. The CBTS activities (Santa's workshop, fire, pit, live nativity scene, hot coco, etc) will be open every Saturday (except for Christmas eve) beginning on Nov 26th and ending on Dec 31. This year both the displays and the activities will be open on New Year's Eve prior to the dropping of the ball!

Kure Beach Christmas Fantasy Show - December 9, 10, & 11

If you want to see all of your favorite Christmas characters like Frosty, Rudolph, Harriet Hippo, The Grinch and, of course, Santa Claus, come on down to the Kure Beach Fantasy Christmas for Friday, Saturday and, new this year, SUNDAY, December 9 through 11, beginning at 7:00 pm. 

You'll be treated to song and dance numbers sure to put you in that festive, holiday mood. A pre-show featuring South of K bluegrass music will begin at 6:30 pm. Don't miss this little slice of Americana in Kure Beach!

Show being held on K Avenue, near the Kure Beach Fishing Pier.

Christmas By The Sea - Lighting Ceremony on 11/25/11

Christmas by the Sea will hold its opening ceremony and lighting at the Carolina Beach Boardwalk on Friday the 25th after the Island of Light ceremony at the lake. Christmas By The Sea Returns To Pleasure Island

Make the most of this wonderful time of year and spend an evening enjoying Christmas by the Sea, returning to the Carolina Beach Boardwalk in its second year, and already a beloved holiday tradition.

The fun begins at 8:00 pm, Friday, November 26th (following the Island of Lights Lighting at the Lake Celebration) and continues Friday at Saturday evenings (5:00 - 8:00 pm) through December 19th.
