These films are FREE and open to the public. Popcorn, candy, soft drinks, cotton candy and other popular concessions are available at reasonable prices.

FREE Summer Concert Series at the Ft. Fisher Air Force Recreation Area with everyone’s favorite - the Mark Roberts Band featuring Dance, Funk, Blues, Rock & Roll, Motown, Beach and Country – truly something for everyone! 6:30–8:30pm.

Saturday - July 26th

FREE double header at the Carolina Beach Gazebo stage featuring Cell Block 2 and Port City Shakedown from 7:30–9:30pm.

Sunday - July 27th

To close out the week, Boogie in the Park presents FREE Surf Reggae Sounds of Selah Dubb at the Ocean Front Park from 5:00-8:00pm.

Splash Into Summer Camp

NEW Carolina Beach Recreation Center Summer Camp!

We are excited to announce our newly restructured Summer Camp program!

We will be offering full week camps for children ages 6 - 13. Children will attend camp Monday - Friday from 9:00 am - 4:00 p.m.

We’ll still offer the same fun trips and activities as last year,
but now campers will attend for the entire week !

 

 

What are the new rates?

CB Residents = $125 per child per week
Non-Residents = $150 per child per week

(Rates include all trips, activities and on-site snacks)

When can I sign up for this awesome camp?

CB Residents = Tuesday, May 6th at 8:00 am
Non-Residents = Friday, May 9th at 7:00 am

Fireworks by the Sea- FREE

Gazebo entertainment begins at 6:30 p.m. and fireworks begin at 9:00 p.m. Arrive early to grab a good spot on the gazebo or beach.

Free Summer Concert Series Line-up Announced

It's time to start planning a fun filled summer on Pleasure Island. Whether you'll be here for a weekend, a week, or every chance you get - you're sure to enjoy the sun, surf, and of course music!

One of the most beloved summertime traditions is the Free Summer Concert Series. On the 2nd and 4th Friday of June, July, and August head to the Ft Fisher Military Recreation Center in Kure Beach, NC to hear popular local bands fill the warm summer air with great music as the sun sets over the Cape Fear River.

Bring a picnic, some lawn chairs, and a few friends (beverages and other refreshments also available for purchase) and enjoy the show.
